Our Fast 50 regional winners
Since June, we’ve been on the hunt for companies of interest and we’ve certainly found them! Congratulations to all our Deloitte Fast 50 regional award winners announced at our regional celebration events on 21 and 22 September. We had two fantastic nights celebrating some of New Zealand’s top business talent!
We officially identified our successful Deloitte Fast 50 agents at synchronised regional celebrations across the country. Almost 1,000 businesses owners from the kiwi SME community turned out to see if their company made the cut!
Companies taking top spots in Auckland included Pushpay, winning both the Fastest Exporter and Fastest Growing Tech Business for their work in creating an app that makes it easier for people to make payments to charities. There was also heavy applause for Eat My Lunch, named a Rising Star – One to Watch. Their business model ensures that for each lunch they sell, another is given to a child who would go without.
Dunedin was celebrating MAXRaft, a return Deloitte Fast 50 winner, who create fully insulated floors – they took out the Fastest Growing Manufacturer title.
Foodies in Christchurch were rejoicing as the fantastic Le Bon Bolli Restaurant won the Fastest Growing Mature Business category and the Rising Star award went to the young Kendall Flutey who founded Banqer – an online fictitious banking system designed to help children understand money better.
The Fast 50 Index
Although we’ve revealed the Fast 50 regional winners, the businesses' rankings remain top secret until the Festival of Growth, at Auckland's Villa Maria Winery in November. Stay tuned – all will be revealed then!
