Five reasons to enter the Deloitte Fast 50
The Deloitte Fast 50 is now in its 19th year of recognising New Zealand’s fastest-growing companies. Every year, a mix of new and repeat entrants enter the programme – but why should you join them? We’ve got five reasons why entering the Deloitte Fast 50 should be top of your to-do list this month…
1) Celebrate your success
In a company experiencing fast growth, there isn’t always time to pause and reflect on your progress so far. Being a part of the Deloitte Fast 50 is a great chance to recognise the hard work done by yourself and your team. This is something Deloitte Private national lead, Bill Hale, promotes, saying that ‘the programme gives people the opportunity to benchmark against their peers and recognise that they've actually done some wonderful things.’

3) Enjoy the Festival of Growth
The Festival of Growth is our annual celebration where we host programme entrants for a day of fascinating panel discussions, delicious food and an evening awards ceremony. For many past entrants, the opportunity to attend the festival is a big draw, with Luke Blincoe, CEO of last year’s Fast 50 winner, Electric Kiwi, saying at the programme launch that ‘the value of just attending the Festival of Growth makes entry worthwhile. 5) Reach new audiences
Finally, performing well in the Fast 50 programme can be a great boost for the business’s bottom line going forward. Luke Blincoe reported that the PR package that came with his company’s win led to ‘our biggest ever sales day - and that momentum has really continued.’ It doesn’t just apply to those at the top of the index either - the programme and its entrants are frequently covered in a variety of media, opening up new audiences and potential customers to all businesses involved.
